Terms and Conditions - Microshop

1. Scope and Applicability

These Terms & Conditions apply to all sales made by Attesa Coffee to both business customers and consumers.

2. Formation of Contract

A contract is formed when Attesa Coffee confirms the order in writing or dispatches the goods, whichever occurs first.

Any deviating terms proposed by the buyer apply only if explicitly accepted in writing.

3. Products and Quality

All product descriptions, tasting notes, scores, and specifications are provided in good faith.

Green coffee and roasted coffee are agricultural products subject to natural variation. Flavor profile, appearance, and physical characteristics may vary and do not constitute defects. Quality claims are indicative and reflect typical characteristics at the time of sale.

4. Prices and Payment

All prices are exclusive of VAT unless explicitly stated otherwise. Applicable VAT and shipping costs are displayed at checkout.

Payment must be completed at checkout before the order is processed.

5. Shipping Schedule

Orders are dispatched once per week on Wednesdays.

Orders placed by Tuesday (end of day) are dispatched on Wednesday. Orders placed after Tuesday are dispatched the following Wednesday.

This schedule allows consolidation of shipments and ensures optimal packing conditions.

6. Shipping Method and Costs

All orders are shipped via DPD unless otherwise agreed.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on:

  • delivery destination
  • total order weight

The final shipping cost is displayed before payment is completed.

7. Delivery Regions

Attesa Coffee ships to selected European countries and the United Kingdom.

Current destinations:

8. Delivery Times

Estimated delivery times after dispatch:

  • Domestic deliveries: 2–5 business days
  • EU deliveries: 3–7 business days
  • United Kingdom: 3–7 business days

Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to external factors such as location, public holidays, customs clearance, or courier schedules.

9. Delivery, Risk, and Tracking

Risk transfers to the consumer upon receipt of the goods.

Once an order has been dispatched, the customer receives:

  • a shipping confirmation email
  • a DPD tracking number (where available)

Tracking information is provided by DPD.

10. Customs, Duties, and Taxes

For deliveries outside the European Union (including the United Kingdom):

  • customs duties, VAT, or import taxes may apply
  • these charges are the responsibility of the customer

Customers are advised to check local import regulations before ordering.

11. Delivery Issues

If an order is marked as delivered but not received, the customer must first check with the neighbour / building management as well as the shipping company.

Attesa Coffee is not responsible for delays or losses once a shipment is marked as delivered by the courier.

12. Right of Withdrawal

Consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal from receipt of the goods, in accordance with applicable consumer law.

Returned products must be unused, unopened, and in original packaging. Return shipping costs are borne by the consumer unless stated otherwise.

13. Complaints and Claims

Complaints must be submitted within 3 working days after discovery.

14. Limitation of Liability

Liability is limited to the extent permitted under mandatory consumer law. Indirect or consequential damages are excluded where legally permissible.

15. Force Majeure

Attesa Coffee is not liable for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including weather conditions, crop failure, transport disruptions, or governmental actions.

16. Personal Data

Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws. See the Privacy Policy for details on data processing, retention periods, and data subject rights.

17. Governing Law

All agreements are governed by the laws of the Netherlands.

Disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of the Netherlands unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
