Karadykan Estate is a magnificent 250-acre estate located 1200 meters above sea level in the Baba Budangiri Hills. Baba Budangiri is known as birth place of Coffee Plantations in India. The estate takes its title, ‘Trishul’ , from being encircled by three hills. A large stream runs across the property, fed by natural springs. Karadykan Estate is home to a plethora of wild creatures, including bison and spotted deer.The splendour of the natural surroundings is enhanced by beautiful peacocks displaying their stunning plumage while dancing. The estate also has a 100-year-old, 12- foot water wheel that spins by gravity and generates a hydroelectric force for coffee pulping. It is without a doubt the most memorable stop at Coffee Works.
