The three estates involved in the making of this blend offer a variety of geographical factors that contribute to the coffee production. While Sítio São José is located at 900 metres above sea level, Sítio Coquieros is at 1250 metres, in a volcanic region. And Fazena Lageada is set at 1150 metres on the slopes of the Serra da Canastra highlands.
This specialty coffee blend is grown by multiple producers in different regions. Marcos Vedovotto and his family run a small farm, Sítio São José in Indianópolis, while Sítio Coquieros, in the volcanic region of Sul de Minas, is run by Bianca Correa and her parents. Bianca is a fifth-generation coffee producer, and she looks after quality management and negotiation. The third producer of this blend, Jânio Costa, runs Fazenda Lageada in Vargem Bonita, where he and his family are from. He and his wife, Nilza both grew up in coffee-farming families and their son and daughter are involved in the family business.
This is an easy, sweet blend that evokes comfort, with notes of walnuts and milk chocolate. It’s processed naturally.
